Music is math

The audio for my motion piece is music is math by Mike Sandison and Marcus Eoin  and after listening to the audio several times i thought about how it made me feel and how i could work with it , the audio has different paces but throughout maintains a slow and chilled theme.

Research: The Brothers Mike and Marcus make up Boards of Canada, who had their own self run music label 'Music70' where they first started releasing their music until they were signed by 'Warp Records' and released their first album 'Music Has a Right to Children' in 1998. Music is Math is the second track on their album Geogaddi which was released in February 2002

I decided to mindmap all the things that went through my head while i was listening to the track and here are the things i was thinking about:
* Dreams, nightmares, night, sleep, dark
* Futuristic, space, time, travel, aliens
* Water, swimming, slow, sound
* Technology, instrument, sound
* Space, sky, stars, mission, astronauts-suits, slow
* Time, passing by, slow
* Alone, sadniess, empty, loss
* Mental, depressed, mind
* Patterns, shapes, kaleigscopes
* Pariond, dark, danger, followed
* Trance, chilled, relax, control
* Exploration, travel, time, space

listen and watch this please!

After watching this video on you-tube i found that most of the things i felt throughout the track where in fact shown in the video , i think the music has a strong sense of how it want the audience to feel and hear it.

Assignment 1 -print to pixel

In assignment 1 we will be using a series of images to plan an animation or stop motion, and for it to be represented in a short storyboard that will give a linear view of your animation and it’s timings.

this print to pixel module is new for me, i have have only ever made a music video so i am excited to get working on these different motion pieces.

I created a mind map of what i was thinking about for this module and any ideas i had on how to approach it, it was quite interesting because at first i thought i didn't have many ideas and one after another they built up and a few ideas really stand out for the audio and could work well together.
